Who killed Erik?

Erik Gear, 23, was reported missing in 1989, after he and five friends went into the Louisiana backwoods for a weekend camping excursion. Thirty-one years later, his remains are discovered in a shallow grave, 50 miles west of where his friends reported him last seen. All five friends claimed that he had disappeared in the middle of the night while they slept, but rumors about voodoo practice and human sacrifice shrouded Erik’s death in folklore and superstition. Now, with the discovery of Erik’s remains, detective Andre Boudreaux dives headfirst into solving this age-old crime, which he himself has a very personal interest in.
